Below are the comic strips I collected over my 27-year teaching career. Most have physics themes but there are science, math, and school themes. Many of these were displayed in my classroom. They are posted for classroom and educational purposes only. I used some of them in class including the one below. When this one appeared in the paper in 1995 I received several from friends and family. They thought the FoxTrot physics teacher looked like me. At that time it was more true than it is now but I still have that green-checked shirt. Every year I would dress like the teacher, even wearing two watches. It was the only day I ever wore a tie in class. I would go through the problem, displaying the panels one at a time. When I got to the last one I would remark that Peter was having a rough time in physics but he sure had an attractive physics teacher. That is when the students would see the resemblance. When I started shaving the resemblance was harder to see. After a couple of years of I decided to stop shaving to grow out my beard. Only when I showed up clean-shaven the next day would students know how far I was willing to go for FoxTrot Cartoon Day.
